SELINUNTE

Selinunte is situated in the city of Castelvetrano, nearly 8km from Mazara del Vallo and just a few km from cave of Cusa. It is one of the most important and interesting archaeological points in the Mediterranean. On the eastern side of the hill you can find: -temple G, one of the biggest of ancient times dedicated to Apollo -temple F, made in the VI century a.C -temple E, dedicated to Hera -temple C, one of the most ancient architecture existing since the first half of the VI century a.C -temple E, the one temple totally reconstructed. It had only few parts from the front part.
