Marsala Landscape

Marsala was founded by survivals when the distruction of Mothia came about, which was named Lilybeo. (the city that looks towards Lybia, this was the name given to Africa) which became Marsala with the arrival of the arabs near IX century. The arabs continued to have commercial exchange. In 1860 Giuseppe Garibaldi disembarked at the port. There are many churches in Barocco style from the XVI-XVIII century and the Arazzi museum. This is where famous Marsala vine came from.
